Share a company with your advisor

Give your accountant or fractional CFO read access to one company’s numbers in Pocket-Advisor, without adding them to your organization — and take it back whenever you like.

Before you start

You’ll need to be an owner or admin of your organization, and you’ll need the email address your advisor uses to sign in to Pocket-Advisor. Your advisor doesn’t join your organization and doesn’t see your other companies — only the one you share.

Send the invitation

  1. Go to Settings → Advisor access → Manage advisor access.
  2. Choose the Company to share and enter your advisor’s Advisor email.
  3. Leave Access level on Read. Edit and Manage can be selected, but today every level gives the same read-only access.
  4. Select Send invitation.

Your advisor receives an email with a link. The invitation token is also shown once on screen — select Copy token if you’d rather send it another way. The link works once and expires after seven days.

What your advisor sees

Once they accept, the company appears in their Pocket-Advisor portfolio, marked Granted. They can view your dashboard, metric snapshots, and forecasts. They can’t change anything, and your billing and the ability to share the company with anyone else stay with you.

Only someone signed in with the exact address you entered can accept — if the invitation is forwarded, it won’t work for anyone else.

Take access back

Your shared companies are listed under Current grants. Select Revoke next to one to end access; it takes effect on your advisor’s very next request. Accepting, revoking, and expiring are all recorded in your organization’s audit trail.
