Client portfolio

The portfolio ranks every client you can see by what needs attention — runway, stale syncs, open recommendations — and lists every open alert across the firm, most severe first.

The client tiles

Advisor → Client portfolio shows one tile per client you can see. Each tile carries:

  • The client’s name and a runway label
  • Cash, Runway, and the number of Open recommendations
  • Last month’s close status, for example “March: open”
  • A “Sync data may be stale” warning when a connected ledger hasn’t synced successfully in seven days or more — or has never synced

The runway label is set by how many days of cash the client has at current burn:

LabelRunway
Healthy180 days or more
Caution90 to 179 days
CriticalUnder 90 days
UnknownNot enough data to calculate yet

How clients are ordered

The portfolio is a triage list, not an alphabetical one. Clients are ordered worst runway first; ties are broken by stale syncs, then by the most open recommendations, and only then by name. The client at the top is the one that most likely needs you today.

The attention strip

Above the tiles, a strip counts clients in each state that needs attention: critical runway, runway caution, stale sync, open alerts, and prior month still open. Any count that is zero is hidden, and when everything is zero the strip says Nothing needs attention across the portfolio right now.

The strip shows counts only — never money summed across clients. Adding one client’s cash to another’s produces a number that describes nobody, so Pocket-Advisor doesn’t show one.

Portfolio alerts

Below the tiles, Portfolio alerts lists every open recommendation for the current month across every client you can see, most severe first: critical, then warning, then information, and by client name within each level.

These are the same rule-based recommendations each client sees in Pocket-CFO. They are produced by deterministic checks against the client’s numbers, not by an AI model, so the same books always produce the same alerts.

Opening a client

Click a tile to open that client’s full dashboard. Quick links on each tile go straight to Dashboard, Metrics, or Forecasts. You can also move between clients from the Switch company menu in the app shell, which lists your firm’s own clients and the companies clients have shared with you — shared ones carry a Granted badge.

Who sees what

Every member of the firm uses the same portfolio, but each person sees only the clients their seat allows. An analyst sees the clients assigned to them — tiles, alerts, dashboards and all — and nothing else. See Firm staff and client assignments.
